“We are always looking to design and develop the best products possible and this would not be possible without an organized team and efficient business processes.”Jeff Estrela

Overview

Founded in 1992, CableTalk is a fully integrated operation that specializes in the design and distribution of communication enclosures and equipment—including server cabinets, network racks, cable management systems, and more. CableTalk is a proud member of the Bempro Global Group of Companies and is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario. The team at CableTalk creates fully customizable cabinet solutions of all sizes, shapes, and specifications. Using an ERP system, like MIE Trak Pro, to manage production has helped them maintain efficiencies in costing and inventory control. They can meet their customers’ every expectation and deliver a world-class product each time they fulfill an order.

MIE Trak Pro is a new addition to the CableTalk team and the team has worked hard to assure that each employee is well-trained and educated on the ins and outs of the system.

  • Focus on distribution and assembly
  • Understanding costs for simple assemblies
  • Accurate inventory tracking
  • Scheduling assemblies efficiently
  • Sought an application that would handle distribution and assembly without overwhelming in-house processes.
  • After using the system in BMP Metals and ClimateWorx, the management team implemented MIE Trak Pro for CableTalk. Its simpler processes only required tools focused on distribution and assembly, and MIE Solutions handles those processes well.
  • MRP is more organized
  • Scheduling assemblies on-site helps Shop Floor employees stay on top of assigned jobs
  • CableTalk experiences 28% annual growth, on average, using MIE Trak Pro

During our ERP search, the thing I liked most about [MIE Trak Pro] was that [it was] made specifically for metal fabrication

Before starting with MIE Trak Pro, we were doing $2 million with 20 employees. Now, we’re doing $10 Million with over 60 employees, and that’s because we invested in automation.
