"As a job shop who serves various industries, we are constantly needing to send lead-time updates to our customers. MIE Trak allows us the ability to give real-time tracking info to our customers about the status of their order. We can see how many parts have been completed, or what manufacturing stage they are currently at, and provide that information quickly over the phone or email without leaving the office. We are able to exercise full control over the shop via the system and communicate all aspects of the manufacturing processes to customers and suppliers. One of our favorite functions is the ability to create custom reports for any module. We can easily prepare data and arrange it in any manner we choose, then print or save it as a PDF with our company logo to share with customers and suppliers. The system is great for generating custom OOR's, RMA's, Certs, etc. Working with the team at MIE Solutions has been a great experience and they are always responsive to our feedback. "MIE is an experience by itself. It can be a simplistic or powerful to integrate. It allows you to choose which modules and capabilities that are important to your organization. The more time I spend with MIE and the great people on the support line, I find that you are never finished with the implementation. The features in MIE that I love the best are the work orders with barcodes. This allows the plant workers to easily log-in/-out of the various sequences. Prior to MIE we had painful handwritten time sheets. Other great features is the shipping/invoicing that can generate 100s of shipping labels in minutes. The inventory module is simple and updates inventory in real time. I really love the daily back-ups, so I feel our data is always secure and protected. The Sales Manager and I hit it off immediately and he knew the application so well, instead of other sales people who do not use their products. They even customized a local training opportunity for us as well. The price point was reasonable for a small precision metal fabricator, compared to other ERP systems."
